Loving You by Elvis Presley

About

Elvis' first starring movie lets him rock out on some of the finest songs of his early career. Accompanied by guitarist Scotty Moore and the Jordanaires, he sounds thoroughly jazzed up in "Mean Woman Blues," "Hot Dog," "(Let's Have A) Party," and, especially "Got a Lot O' Livin' To Do!" The studio add-ons, like "Don't Leave Me Now" and "Tell Me Why," are ballads that find Elvis in melodramatic, affected, and occasionally self-mocking form.
