It has been a year since the break-up of HUMBLE PIE, one of the premier British rock bands of the Seventies. In 75, when the PIE made their farewell tour of the states, leader STEVE MARRIOTT told SRO crowds as they screamed out requests for just one more encore,"Don't worry, we'll be back". The "we'll" has been amended to an "I'll", but otherwise Marriott has kept that promise with the release of his first solo album. This album has two sides, side one, the British band featuring Steve Marriott, Lead Guitar and Vocals. Greg Ridley, Bass and backing vocals. Ian Wallace, Drums, Percussion. Mickey Finn, Rhythm Guitar. Aditional backing vocals on "looking for Love", Venetta Fields, Maxayn Lewis and Carlena Williams. The American side with, David Foster, Keyboards. Dennis kovarik, Bass. Ben Benay, Guitar. Mike Baird, Drums. Ian Wallace, Persussion. Red Rhodes, Pedal Steel. Alan Estes, Congas. Ernie Watts, Sax. Davis Spinozza, Lead guitar on "Early Evening Light".
