Mission Magic is a Rock album by Rick Springfield, originally released in 1974. On Gatefold: 13 pressings tracked.
About
In the early ‘70s, Rick Springfield’s pop-idol status loomed so large that he starred in Mission: Magic!, a Saturday-morning cartoon where Springfield and his animated pals traveled through time and solved mysteries. Mission Magic collects songs Springfield contributed to the short-lived show; the power-pop instincts that would assist the Aussie heartthrob’s rise to video-era megastardom shine on brisk rave-ups like “It’s Driving Me Crazy” and “You’d Better Think Twice,” while “I Want You” is a sweetly besotted ballad.
