The single "Burnin' It Down" layers an electro guitar riff and drum machines into lyrics about "sipping on some cold Jack Daniels," and "Sweet Little Something" features unmistakably EDM synth flourishes. But Aldean doesn't wander too far from country fundamentals: crunchy choruses on the anthems, weeping guitars on the ballads. "Tryin' to Love Me" and "Miss that Girl" are among the highlights here.
