Paper Empire by Better Than Ezra

Paper Empire is a Rock album by Better Than Ezra, originally released in 2009.

About

Paper Empire, the sixth studio album by BTE, is a strong come back to Before The Robot. However, it handles different theme, such as being yourself, living every single day, countless regretful moment, moments of pure love, and getting stoned with your sister. Some songs are purely fun, such as "Hell No!" and "Nightclubbing." Others are more heartwrenching, like "Wounded" and "Hey Love." Better Than Ezra followed up pretty well, although Paper Empire failed to chart. McNabb was dropped before the recording of the record. The album is brimmed with very strong relationship song, but not overwhelmingly so (except for "Hey Love," that song brings one to tears). "Absolutely Still" was written by Val Emmich and intended for his record, Sunlight Searchparty. When EMmich left the label, Griffin used the song for the record. It did not chart. The second single, "Just One Day," also failed to chart. .
