Pink Moon is the third and final studio album by Nick Drake, released in 1972. Unlike his previous albums, which featured lush arrangements and orchestration, Pink Moon is a stark, minimalist work consisting only of Drake’s voice, acoustic guitar, and a brief piano overdub on the title track. This stripped-down approach gives the album an intimate, haunting quality that has since become legendary. The album cover, designed by Michael Trevithick, reflects the album’s dreamlike and introspective nature.
