Post-Mersh, Vol. 2 by Minutemen

Post-Mersh, Vol. 2 is an Alt/Indie album by Minutemen, originally released in 1987. On Gatefold: 6 pressings tracked.

About

Pioneering DIY punks the Minutemen didn't waste a second of their brief existence. Post-Mersh, Vol. 2 collects their EPs Buzz or Howl Under the Influence of Heat and Project Mersh, proving that even the band’s between-album missives were stuffed to the brim with wild, zany ideas. "The Cheerleaders" and "King of the Hill" deliver incisive critiques of nationalism via cocksure grooves and hack-and-slash riffs, while "The Product" mashes up mutated surf guitars, gruff chanting, and mariachi horns for an off-the-cuff statement of punk individuality.
