"Radio Ga Ga" was originally released January 23, 1984 (UK) as the first single from the forthcoming "The Works" album.
It is also the first single to sport Queen's personalised EMI catalogue numbering scheme (QUEEN1 for the 7", 12QUEEN1 for the 12") as well as the band's first release on a cassingle. In 1988 it was re-released as a CD-single.
This grouping assembles the single releases, re-releases and other variations where "Radio Ga Ga" receives A-side/top billing (non-album track "I Go Crazy" was the designated B-side).
The US/Canada Capitol 7'' releases use a shorter edit of "Radio Ga Ga" (4:24) to those issued elsewhere worldwide on EMI 7'' which use "The Works" album version (5:47).
