Red Earth & Pouring Rain by Bear's Den

Red Earth & Pouring Rain is an Alt/Indie album by Bear's Den, originally released in 2016. On Gatefold: 6 pressings tracked.

About

Lustrous pastoral Americana to set your heart soaring takes the lead on this second album from full-bearded London duo Andrew Davie and Kevin Jones. And there are no signs that losing a founding member midway through recording—guitarist Joey Haynes—threw them off their stroke. “Emeralds” packs an absurdly smooth ‘70s groove, “Broken Parable” brims with twinkling blue collar romance, and breakout hit “Auld Wives” (complete with vintage synths) is a retro-futurist folk banger.
