While preparing for tour in 2022, Demi Lovato was faced with a conundrum: How were they going to blend their old pop and R&B hits with their new, rockier releases like “SWINE”? Lovato had been singing some of those songs for 15 year, and they had long since evolved as an artist, so they started performing new arrangements with more of a pop-punk sound. <i>REVAMPED</i> reflects this transformation with 10 of their biggest tracks reimagined and rerecorded in their current edgier, rock style—featuring heavier guitars and drum. Slash even features on a punchy, headbanging version of “Sorry Not Sorry,” and The Used singer Bert McCracken harmonizes with them on “Give Your Heart a Break.” .
