About

As the soundtrack to the movie of the same name, <i>Rite Here Rite Now</i> is the musical portion of a concert film shot over two nights at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum in 2023. Swedish occult-rock titans Ghost deliver a multimedia experience—part concert, part backstage drama. The flick is a hi-def live experience spliced with scenes from frontperson Cardinal Copia’s quest to prolong his tenure as the band’s figurehead and lead vocalist. As the story goe, he’s the only Ghost vocalist to record more than one full-length with the band, and he’s desperate to retain his position. How does it all play out? No spoilers here. The soundtrack focuses on material from Ghost’s 2015 album <i>Meliora</i> forward, including the propulsive “Rat,” their Grammy-winning single “Cirice,” their cover of the late Texas troubadour Roky Erickson’s “If You Have Ghost,” and the sing-along crowd favorite “Spillways” from their 2022 album <i>Impera</i>. .
