Savage is the major label rock debut album by singer-songwriter Tim Montana, released on July 12, 2024, through Broken Bow Record. Marking a hard pivot from his country roots into 1990s-influenced hard rock, the album features gritty, brutally honest songwriting inspired by his turbulent off-the-grid childhood in Montana. The title track, "Savage," served as a primary single alongside the smash hit "Devil You Know". During an interview with Loudwire Night, Montana revealed that recording the heavy screams in the title track "Savage" actually caused minor bleeding in his vocal cord. While he spent a decade writing country music in Nashville, rock was always his core passion. The commercial success of his 2023 rock single "Devil You Know" prompted him to write and record the rest of the album quickly over the holiday. .
