Recorded in three days at Jimi's studio, Electric Lady, in NYC. For those who are guitarist-minded, this featured the amazing pyrotechnics of the late Tommy Bolin. The band on the electric tracks also included Cobham's Mahavishnu Orchestra compatriot Jan Hammer and bassist Lee Sklar, best known for his work with James Taylor and Jackson Browne.
