About
I think it was about 1973 when a friend returned to New Zealand from spending time travelling around the USA. Amongst his collection of Grateful Dead, Flying Burrito Bro., Commander Cody, etc was this gem of an album. Just last month I managed to get a digitised copy of the vinyl, and I think it has really stood the test of time remarkably well. Rooted in folk and country, with a very solid rhythm section,(a lot like Neil Young's Stray Gators), excellent pedal-steel(Ben Keith?), and well recorded to boot this is a low-key classic. I 'd love to know what became of thes guys? They deserved a bigger audience. .
