About

The debut of American Rock band Taking Back Sunday, released in early 2002. TAYF, ( as it abbreviated by it's fans) helped Taking Back Sunday, along with previous acts (Sunny Day Real Estate, blink 182, Jimmy Eat World) and contemporary groups (Thursday, My Chemical Romance, Dashboard Confessional) bring the Pop-Punk/Emo genre into the the front and center of Rock in the early 2000's. Fueled by the angst circa 20 year old feelings of lead vocalist, Adam Lazzara, lead guitar & vocalist, John Nolan, rhythm guitarist, Eddie Reyes, bassist, Shaun Cooper and drummer, Mark O'Connell, about romance, love and loss.
