The Golden Age is a Folk album by American Music Club, originally released in 2008. On Gatefold: 7 pressings tracked.
About
The shuffling, winding songs of The Golden Age, American Music Club’s ninth studio album, see singer Mark Eitzel deepening the classic slowcore that put him on the map (“The Decibels and the Little Pills”). The clear acoustic guitar and beautiful, scraping drums of “All My Love” and “The Sleeping Beauty” evoke Eitzel’s foggy, luminescent San Francisco, a place where hopes and dreams get mixed up with tragedy and loss like cream in coffee.
