About

In 1969, Ike & Tina Turner released their blues-infused album "The Hunter" on Blue Thumb Records. This album, recorded during the blues revival era, featured the Albert King song "The Hunter" as its title track. A notable feature of "The Hunter" was the inclusion of renowned electric blues guitarist Albert Collins, who contributed to the song "Bold Soul Sister." However, Collins was not credited on the album to prevent potential legal issues arising from his contract with another record label, Imperial Records.
