The original soundtrack to "The Jungle Book", originally released December 1967 (BV-4041/STER-4041). No booklet.
Remastered in 1990 with the help of the composers Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman, who provided an interview reminiscing about the production and what inspired them to write the songs. It was expanded to include George Bruns' underscore, and two songs, 'Baloo's Blues' and 'It's A Kick', sung by Phil Harris, from the Disneyland Records' Storyteller album "More Jungle Book".
The 1997 and 2006 reissues additionally contain the demo recordings 'Brothers All' and 'The Song Of The Seeonee' written by the composer Terry Gilkyson, who was originally brought in for the film, and who wrote the song 'The Bare Necessities', but was later replaced by the Sherman brothers.
