Album notes

Discogs page for these notes (opens in a new tab)

Warner used the "London Records" cut of "Easy" for this compilation, which is not the same as the version used by Reprise and Liberation for the single Easy in Australia, Canada and the USA (and on a special edition German only CD single). It doesn't feature keyboard synths and has spoken word ad-lib at the start of the track. It is the version used by London Records in the UK, Europe, Japan and South America.
"Sweet Emotion" was later retitled to "The Perfect Crime" and recorded with new lyrics for the Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (opens in a new tab) soundtrack.
"New Improved Song" featured Chuck Mosley on vocals and was later recorded with new lyrics and Mike Patton on vocals, this version was retitled to "The Morning After" and featured on Faith No More's "The Real Thing (opens in a new tab) and as double A side to the Australian release of "Epic (opens in a new tab)".
