About
Asia played a key role in pushing progressive rock into the ’80s. Over a string of smashes—all collected here—they temper prog complexity with New Wave’s pulsating synths and punchy rock hooks. “Heat of the Moment” blends crystalline harmonies with gleaming production to create a euphoric earworm, while the sweetly scented “Don’t Cry” pivots on a dance-pop beat and girl-group melody. The album also includes several rarities, including the upbeat “Daylight,” which boasts some of Asia’s best shimmering keyboard arrangements.
