About
Tight is the first studio album released by Mindless Self Indulgence on April 20th, 1999. The album was originally set to be released via Roadrunner Records, but was pulled out at last minute due to the cover. Due to this, it was released on their independent label Uppity Cracker Recording Group instead. The album released on the same day as the Columbine Shooting, and Hitler's birthday, completely by coincidence. The band claims that it was originally set to release at an earlier date, but kept getting pushed back. They also say that they found out about the shooting while hearing someone in the crowd talking about it while promoting the new release (Tighter DVD Audio Commentary).
