Trial by Fire is the band Journey's comeback album and their tenth studio album to date. It was released in 1996, ten years after their last album, Raised On Radio. It featured the line-up from the albums Escape and Frontiers, their most successful albums. It reached the number 3 spot on the Billboard 200. Its single "When You Love a Woman" reached the number 12 spot on the Hot 100 and the number 1 spot on the Adult Contemporary charts. Other singles released were "Message of Love" and "If He Should Break Your Heart." This was also the last album to feature lead singer, Steve Perry.
