• 3:58 original album version, as released in late 1984 & early 1985 on the first editions of Sign In Please. The guitar in the intro is strummed.
• 3:47 promo-only Short Version, an early fade of the original album version.
• 4:32 single version, a.k.a. Special Extended Mix, Long Version or Album Rock Radio Guitar Mix. The intro has a continuous guitar sound. Duration is usually printed as 4:28 but the song runs 4:31 to 4:35, varying due to different fade lengths.
The US 45 had a 19-week run in the Billboard Hot 100, entering at #89 on 22 Dec 1984 and peaking at #29 on 16 Mar 1985.
