Taken from the 1982 album "Ship Arriving Too Late To Save A Drowning Witch", the "Valley Girl" track was paired with a number of B-sides in various countries, including work from the previous 1981 album "You Are What You Is". Both an 'album version' (c. 4:59) and 'single version' (c. 3:47) "Valley Girl" tracks were issued.
Track co-writer Moon Zappa performs on the A-side of this release, adding her vocalized version of Southern California's 'Valley-speak' to the proceedings.
