Centred on a tale of a psychiatric patient and his doctor, it’s a concept album that spans frenetic instrumentals ("Nil by Mouth") and eerie slow burners ("Host") while prescribing a heavy, 12-minute epic (“Veil”). Add the melodic stomp of finale “A Cell Divides”, and this is another triumph for the prog-rock innovators.
