Album notes

Discogs page for these notes (opens in a new tab)

There are two original mixes of this album – the first version, sometimes called the 'Rock Mix', has extra overdubbed guitar parts on some tracks, while several other tracks are entirely different takes. The second version, sometimes called the 'Soul Mix', has more-polished production and lacks some of the overdubs. The catalog number is the same for both, and only the matrix numbers differentiate the two. The first version ('Rock Mix') matrix includes Δ16741, while the second version ('Soul Mix') matrix includes Δ16951. The original German Philips releases also include the 'Soul Mix'.
