Wiser For The Time by The Black Crowes

Wiser For The Time is a Rock album by The Black Crowes, originally released in 2013. On Gatefold: 2 pressings tracked.

About

As their last official release, this live double album is The Black Crowes' generous parting gift to fans. Recorded during a five-night run at Manhattan's Best Buy Theater in 2010, it's split between acoustic and electric sets, both tracking the band's most beloved songs. Among the former, covers of The Flying Burrito Brothers and Bob Dylan stand out for their rarity and tenderness. Of the latter, "No Speak No Slave" captures these veteran musicians at their most switched-on and telepathic, "Only Halfway to Everywhere" explodes with soulful backing vocals, and "A Conspiracy" embodies all the band's smart, sensual charm.
