About
Dwelling somewhere between jazz, rock, folk, and classical, Yes have that unique territory all to themselves. On the band’s 1972 American tour they found their identity as a truly great live band. They jump in with the epic “Siberian Khatru,” a speed battle between Rick Wakeman’s organ and Steve Howe’s guitar. Howe and Chris Squire later rock the crazy guitar and bass workout “The Fish,” while Wakeman showcases his earnest neoclassical project “Six Wives.” Yessongs is as intense as it is endlessly fascinating.
