Biography

American bluegrass banjo, guitar, bass and fiddle player, and singer. Born July 25, 1950 in Fort Worth, Texas. Died November 15, 2021 in Knoxville, Tennessee.
In 1976, Holden replaced Bob Black in Bill Monroe's Blue Grass Boys.
In 2005, he performed with Peter Rowan at a festival in Dripping Springs, Texas, and played banjo on Rowan’s "Reggaebilly" album.
