Biography
Destroy All Monsters formed in 1974 in Ann Arbor (Michigan), by Jim Shaw, Mike Kelley, and the couple of Cary Loren and Niagara, starting as a noise group.
They turned to a punk band by 1977, with only Niagara remaining in the line-up, and with Ron Asheton (of The Stooges) and Michael Davis (of the MC5) joining.
The group disbanded in 1985, but the original line-up got back together in 1995, and was playing gigs until 2017.
