Biography
Instrumental music project created by Cincinnati-based producer and DJ Jason Grimes (also known as Jason Grimez). Formerly a producer for the 1990s hip-hop group MOOD, Grimes launched Doctor Bionic as a studio project that blends deep, hard-hitting soul-jazz, dub, and instrumental hip-hop with live instrumentation. The project is frequently described as "instrumental B-movie psych-hop" and is heavily defined by its vintage, analog production style.
