George E. Jones

American rapper, songwriter and fitness trainer originally from Detroit, Michigan.
He came to Bremen, Germany in 1989 and soon joined the Techno group Satellite 1 of producer Kai Matthiesen. This group was predecessor of Eurodance act Mr. President founded in 1994. Jones became the first frontman and rapper of the group under his alias Sir Prophet Of Funk.
After their second song Up'n Away (opens in a new tab) became a hit, Jones developed a certain presciousness, which led to internal conflicts with his both femalse singers. Jones was sacked and replaced in the group the same year.
Eventually, he started a second career as fitness coach. Occasionally, he still acted as DJ or featuring artist, but over the years he stayed active in his successful fitness trainer position in television and on fitness and motivation DVDs.
