Hans Bathelt

German drummer and percussionist from Cologne in the Krautrock era.
Barthelt was co-founder of Triumvirat in 1969 and played drums in the band. He was with the band for the first four albums, where he contributed the most lyrics. In 1976, he and Jürgen Fritz got into a serious conflict about the style of the band. While Fritz wanted to evolve into a more mainstream-like sound, as their record company suggested, Barthelt wanted to stay independent.
This led to a complete change of line-up by Fritz. Barthelt left the group and the music business due to this.
