Biography

Swedish actor and musician, born on May 13, 1950, in Ludvika församling, Ludvika, Dalarna, and died on January 13, 2026, in Ed, Upplands Väsby, Uppland.
As an actor, Hans Wicktorsson was best known in the role of Kurt Olsson's companion.
Wiktorsson was a rock musician in the band from Gagnef, Dalarna between 1970 and 1972, which also included the author. After that, he spent a few years working at the record company in Vaxholm, where he took part in recording sessions with several other artists.
In 1975, Wicktorsson moved to Gothenburg because he wanted to dedicate himself more to theater. He became a member of Nationalteatern. Together with this group, he also took part in (the Tent Project) in 1977.
When Nationalteatern's rock orchestra was dissolved in 1981, Wiktorsson remained in the theatre group of the same name, which Lars Brandeby would join in 1985.
Lars Brandeby's fictional persona Kurt Olsson had originated on in 1979, where he was a self-absorbed listener who called into the program to complain about a variety of strange problems. He later became even more popular as the character of a reporter on the program 'Helt Frankt med Kurt' (Completely Frank with Kurt), including and Kurt Olsson, on, which led in 1987 to create the quirky comedy show 'Kurt Olssons television' (opens in a new tab) (Kurt Olsson's Television), where Hans Wicktorsson played the sidekick and friend, as well as the cameraman Nyström, who together with Kurt Olsson and Damorkestern (the Ladies' Orchestra) tried to make a TV show together.
In August 1989, Wiktorsson was tragically hit by a tram in Gothenburg and was seriously injured. A few years later, he left the stage and withdrew to a life outside of it.
Hans Wiktorsson was married to Med Reventberg, who was also a member of Nationalteatern, from October 12, 1976, until her passing on June 23, 2021.
