Biography

Formerly main recording alias of Keith Fullerton Whitman, dedicated to "schizoid drum'n'bass" and experimental electronica. Whitman dropped out of Berkley College of Music in 1995 and started his own bedroom record label Reckankreuzungsklankewerkzeuge. On RKK he released his debut Attention: Cats (US 1998) (opens in a new tab) in 1998 - a collection of early tracks, each presented under different pseudonym. First proper Hrvåtski album Oiseaux 96-98 (US 1999) (opens in a new tab) followed in 1999, again a compilation of tracks. Third album Swarm & Dither in 2002 was his ‘major’ debut on Planet Mu. It included various tracks created in the course of 3 years.
Hrvatski also did a number of remixes and productions for such artists as Kid606, Matmos, Electro Organic Sound System, God Is My Co-Pilot, Sun, Merzbow, Voice Crack, etc. Also he contributed to many compilations and performed numerous shows, festivals gigs and dj-sets in USA, Europe, Japan, Russia and other parts of the world.
