Biography
American bassist and songwriter from Los Angeles.
He learns to play bass at the age of 15 and soon starts to play in a band called "Native Sun" together with Anthony Wilson. Toback moves to Princeton and starts as bassist of the band.
Visiting a friend in Seattle, he meets Regan Hagar and after return to L.A., Stone Gossard asks him to join their band, at that time called "Shame". Jeremy agrees upon this offer and joins the band, which eventually is renamed to Brad.
While the band gets signed to a major, Jeremy starts a second career as solo recording artist and starting from 1996, he releases his first solo records. Unable to manage band and solo career at the same time, Jeremy leaves Brad in 2002. At the same time, Jeremy is dropped by his solo label and ends his solo career, as well.
After leaving Brad, he founds the Yoga label together with his wife. Around 2006, he leaves the music business and becomes a salesman.
At that time, he co-founds the folk duo together with Renee Stahl. He joins in 2011 on a semi-professional base. Eventually, he starts a professional career as ghostwriter.
