Biography

(May 7, 1946 - January 14, 1992)
American drummer and songwriter, born in Brooklyn, NYC. Being a close friend of Johnny Thunders, he joined the New York Dolls after their first drummer died, and later co-founded The Heartbreakers with him. His previous bands included Cradle (with Suzi Quatro), Queen Elizabeth (with Wayne County), and Shaker.
After leaving the Heartbreakers, he played with Sid Vicious' band, the short-lived The Idols (with Arthur Kane), and worked again with Thunders, mostly on live shows.
