Biography

American bass player, born in Nashville Tn. December 13, 1957. Died - November 4, 2019 in Nashville, aged 61.
Born and raised in Nashville, his father was a bassist who played with Eddy Arnold and his mother was the infamous Betty Herbert. He got his professional start touring with Billy Joe Shaver, played with Connie Smith on the Grand Ole Opry from 1987 to 1982, was a member of The Road Scholars through the early 1980s, and a member of Steve Earle & The Dukes from 1988 until his death in 2019.
He also worked with Tom Kimmel, The Thieves, Deana Carter, and more. After 30 years of working as a sideman, he released his first solo album, Black Sheep Blues, in 2014.
