Biography

Born February 1st, 1957 was the Drummer of Siouxsie & The Banshees from July 1977 to September 1979. Died January 2026.
He left the band famously together with then guitarist John McKay a few hours before a concert of the 'Join Hands' tour after a heavy disagreement about signing records at a local store in Aberdeen.
Before the Banshees, he was a member of The Flowers Of Romance which dissolved without any recordings after Sid Vicious was asked to join the Sex Pistols.
He also studied fine art and film-making at North East London Polytechnic alongside John Maybury and worked as assistant on Derek Jarman's 1977 'Jubilee' Film.
After leaving the Banshees, he went back to art school, completed a degree and made art films, the soundtrack of his debut film 'La Main Morte' being the sole record released under his name. Besides he was still drumming supporting other artists performances but did not join any bands.
He left London with a BA Honours degree in Fine Arts and moved to Ireland to teach art in a Kildare secondary school in 1993, ran an gallery in the late 90s and moved to Cork in 2010.
He was selling his works online and was preparing his autobiography.
