Biography
Dutch singer and songwriter. Nellie 'Nelleke' Brzoskowski was born in Bakel on 8 November 1954 or 1956. She started singing at a very young age, using her nickname Nelleke (sometimes Nellie) as her artist name. Became popular through TV, also in Belgium. In the seventies she formed the group The Song Of The Family with her siblings, while still recording solo-work. Between 1982 and 1989 or 1990 she sang with the George Baker Selection. Around the time the GBS had split up, she started using Nelleke Brzoskowski for her solo-work. After a car crash, she has turned to singing more classical work since 2019.
