Paul Barrère was an American guitarist, slide guitarist, singer and songwriter (IPI # 87718629), born July 3, 1948, Burbank, California, USA; died October 26, 2019, Westwood, Los Angeles, California, USA (age 71).
Best known as a member of Little Feat. He auditioned as bassist for the band at its forming, and then joined the band in 1972 for their third album Dixie Chicken, and remained with them until his death. During Little Feat's early 1980s hiatus, Paul led the group Chicken Legs. And in 1988, formed acoustic duo Paul & Fred with fellow Little Feat bandmember Fred Tackett.
