American folk, rock and pop singer / songwriter (b. 1941, Lafayette, Tennessee, United States; d. October 2, 2014). She was married to Booker T. Jones from 1969 -to1979. Mother of Laura Satterfield, sister of Rita Coolidge and of Cherokee ancestry.
Priscilla Coolidge was killed on October 2, 2014 in Thousand Oaks, California by her husband Michael Seibert, who commited suicide afterwards.
