Biography
Rocketship is known for quirky '60s-influenced bedroom pop that incorporates elements of shoegaze and psychedelic drone.
Rocketship began around 1993 as a group with singer/songwriter guitarist Dustin Reske, keyboardist Heidi Barney, bassist Verna Brock and drummer Jim Rivas (of Holiday Flyer). From 1996 Rocketship consisted of Dustin Reske, who wrote the music and lyrics, initially recording alone, later on accompanied by other performers. Since 2015 Rocketship's vocalist has been Ellen Osborn.
