Surfing

Surfing was an electronic music duo from Melbourne, Australia, formed in 2011 by Penny Van Hazelberg and Leroy Honeycomb. The band was known for their unique blend of vaporwave, synth-pop, and chillwave, often incorporating elements of disco and jazz rock. Their music has been described as creating a nostalgic, retro-futuristic soundscape with funky bass lines, dreamy synths, and ethereal vocals.
The duo gained significant recognition with their 2012 album Deep Fantasy, which is considered a landmark release in the underground electronic music scene. Over their career, they released several albums and numerous singles, continuing to evolve their sound.
On June 15, 2025, Leroy Honeycomb announced on social media that Surfing had come to an end.
