Rock group from New Zealand, formed 1966 in Wellington. In 1967 they backed folk/blues singer for a one-off single released under the name.
Relocated to Melbourne, Australia in 1969 where they adopted the moniker The New Zealand Avengers to avoid confusion with labelmates The Avengers, a Brisbane, Australia outfit.
Members: Hank Davis (4) (Drums), Eddie McDonald (bass), Dave Brown (rhythm guitar), Clive Cockburn (lead guitar, organ)
