Biography

A group put together by Pickwick City Records founder and director Terry Philips to promote the The Ostrich / Sneaky Pete (opens in a new tab) single. The studio recording, made by Philips and Pickwick City staffers Lou Reed, Jerry Vance, and Jimmie Sims, differed from the touring band's lineup, which swapped out Phillips, Vance, and Sims for John Cale, Tony Conrad, and Walter De Maria.
