The Victims

Australian punk band from Perth, Western Australia, active in 1977-79. Their first show was in Perth, early 1977. The band's members were (Dave Faulkner) on guitar and vocals, Rudolf V (Dave Cardwell) on bass and James Baker on drums.
They released only two 7"s, a single Television Addict (Australia 1978) (opens in a new tab) and an EP No Thanks To The Human Turd (Australia 1978) (opens in a new tab) which were over 10 years later compiled with a bonus track on 12" All Loud On The Western Front.
The band was activated by Dave and James in the late 2010's with the Hard-Ons bassist Ray Ahn. They played many shows in Australia and released two new 7"s with that line-up and a self-titled 1977-1978 compilation LP on, originally released on in Japan 2011.
The Victims played their last show at The Rosemount Hotel, Perth on 10 June 2023.
