Biography
This Day Forward was a post-hardcore band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. They were active from 1996 to 2003, during which time they released three full-length albums and an EP.
The band was started in 1996 in the city of Philadelphia by brothers Mike and Gary Shaw on vocals and bass, with Randy Wehrs, and Mike Golen on guitar and drummer Colin Frangicetto. This Day Forward signed to Equal Vision Records in late 2002, and in the following year released In Response. This album strayed away from their initial sound, adding more ambient and experimental sounds while having a traditional song structure at the same time.
