Biography
Canadian producer and DJ, born September 18, 1974 and based in Montreal. He is founder of the label Turbo.
He was son of hippie parents and partially grew up in Goa. In the 1990's, Tiga was a creator and DJ of the club scene in Montreal, initially he was Acid House DJ there.
He got worldwide attention in 2001 with his Electro version of Corey Hart's classic tune "Sunglasses At Night (opens in a new tab)", which he recorded with Finnish producer Zyntherius. One year later, he remixed Nelly's "Hot in herre" and in the following years, numerous remixes followed.
In 2006, he released his first solo album, Tiga was multiply awarded for his work.
In the time after, he had many different roles, he has a radio show on, runs a podcast and was an one-off actor in 2010.
