Biography

Eighties New York dance-pop duo assembled by Raul A. Rodriguez.
The Two Sisters were actually the production duo of Man Parrish and Raul Rodriguez and the name was a nickname given to them by someone at Sugarscoop.
The vocalists were receptionists from the Sugarscoop offices, Theresa Pesco and Tracey Houghton, and it was decided to use their images for the album cover and all promotional material. They also appeared later as vocalists on the Man Parrish release, ‘Hey There, Homeboys’.
Man Parrish used to hang out a lot with Raul Rodriguez. They wrote several records together. One of the guys at the record label coined them the “two sisters” because they would be like Lucy and Ethel, always getting into trouble. So, one day they needed a name for our group, and as a private joke they decided to use “Two Sisters”. The girls on the cover worked as a receptionist in the office, and could sing. They needed singers for the tracks Parrish wrote and the duo decided to used them. So the “Two Sisters” is actually a goof name for Man Parrish and Raul Rodriguez (RIP).
Mark Berry engineered the tracks and Marcus Barone wrote and played keyboards on Right There.
